What's in the Can?

I cut my silencer off at the end of the text on the side, as I use my C440 mostly just for Motocross.

Here is what I cut off, and what's inside the can. You can see that the original can

has nuts welded inside to hold the end cap.

On the left, what's left of the tube that runs up the middle. You know, the packing

goes around it. On the right is the 'spark arrestor', an absurdly fine wire mesh over

a perforated cone. If you don't remove this thing, clean it often!

The cone on the left was on the inlet side of the can. On the right, the whole end cap.

Two good reasons for the conversion: loose 2 pounds, and looks cool! You can see

that the PMB end cap is threaded for the fasteners. Be sure to specify that you want

the fasteners included in your kit. They are free with the purchase, last I heard.
